Daniel 11;32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

How to know the power of a word preached on Sunday morning is to weigh how it impacts us on a Wednesday afternoon and a Friday evening when there are options!

From the words of a podcast session, I listened to, Preston Morrison spoke these exact words just differently worded but with such weight, He said;  The potency of the word of God on Sunday is not measured on a Monday morning but on Friday afternoon!

Pastor Maxie, clarified the law of super-positioning, Steal, Kill, Destroy! The levels to this go higher as in that list: what the enemy steals, can be restored, what is killed can be resurrected, but destruction can not be…..

According to Daniel 11;24, to know God, means we find strength, and then we do great exploits!  Young people even with their three-fold gifts; passion, energy, and time still can get weary and need God’s strength.

Fatigue exceeds the physical realm, to find inner strength, we have to know God.

According to Job 42;5

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.

The first way we know God is through personal experiences, the levels below will help us relate with the people we have around us, effectively!

  • Level of Emotions (Lowest level of engagement)

This is when our interactions with people are based solely on how we feel.

  • Level of Principles

At this level, God gives us the requisite information to know how to function. Begins teaching us! For example; God teaches us to give!

  •  Experiential knowledge

In this stage, God allows us to be one with the information he gives us!

From the lessons, God teaches us that we are able to live a truth on whatever God taught us, for example; after God has taught us to give, we become givers in this stage.

The experiences we have of God are our defense of the truth and the showcase of God’s power!

  • Level of covenant

God then creates a covenant with us after we have gone through these stages.

Abraham was taken through these stages, when God told him to leave his land in Genesis 12, there were emotions he must have felt knowing he was leaving a land that had been his home for a long while,

In Genesis 15, when God told him to look up at the stars and count them, he was giving him the information he needed for his destiny.

Abraham became one with the word of God when he believed it!

In Genesis 17, God changed Abraham’s name because that is one of the ways God establishes a covenant with people.

  • Level of eldership

This is where the elders defend the truth from the life they lived.

Assignment

Look for scripture, and tie your life to it so much, that you have the experience of knowledge with this scripture. Let everything you do be based on the words of that scripture.

It ensures that in those times of doubt and worry you can be guided and reminded of the truth God spoke and receive the hope you need in that season.
